Thank you for stopping by! I've never considered myself a "professional photographer," but it sure is becoming a busy hobby. I sort of fell into becoming better friends with my camera when I had my son. I have always had a love and passion for photography, even when I was a little girl. I started with my mom's 35mm Nikon film camera and used a darkroom at school to develop my own photo's in elementary and high school. When the first Canon Digital Rebel came out, I received one for my birthday. I took A LOT of pictures, I mean 10's of thousands of pictures, but most of them were so-so. It was not until Riggin was born in 2014 that I discovered my true love and passion for photography. I dove head-first in to learning how to make great pictures because I wanted to capture all of the milestones and fun moments and be proud to display them on my walls.

I have spent the last several years educating myself on many aspects of photography. I prefer to shoot natural light, but I am pursuing the use of flash and understanding light better. I like to shoot outdoors, livestock, my kiddo and day to day things, but I have stepped out of my comfort zone and done engagement sessions, senior photos, family portraits, children's portraits and a couple of weddings. I am willing to try anything and I love to learn new things. I am always (when I have time) watching tutorials and experimenting with my work whether it be with my photography or in post processing.

I have since upgraded cameras, bought some great new glass and a host of fun accessories. I've learned that photography can be an addiction (an EXPENSIVE one at that!). Most everyone knows when I show up somewhere, I likely will have my camera in-tow. Here's to happy shooting!
